MEET Joyace Lopez, MA, NCC Pre-Licensed Therapist

 Joyace is a compassionate Master's-level clinician dedicated to understanding and addressing the complexities of family dynamics. With a deep appreciation for both individual experiences and the interconnectedness of family systems, she specializes in recognizing how generational trauma can influence relationships and behaviors. 

Raised in a military family and having lived abroad, Joyace brings a unique perspective to her practice. She empathizes with individuals going through social isolation, grief, sudden loss, divorce, aging, and chronic pain. She is committed to helping individuals and families navigate these difficulties, fostering resilience and growth. 

In her therapeutic approach, Joyace integrates faith-based interventions for clients who desire this perspective, creating a holistic environment that respects and incorporates spiritual beliefs. Her practice is grounded in warmth, non-judgment, and a commitment to guiding clients from feelings of hopelessness to hopefulness. 

Responding to a divine calling, Joyace transitioned from a legal career to dedicating herself fully to serving others. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree, beginning in the fall of 2025, to further her ability to support and empower individuals on their journey toward healing and personal development. 

Joyace is a pre-licensed professional counselor, working under the supervision of Dr. Michaels.
